ART + MUSIC + FOOD = LIFE

That's our fucken motto and we're sticking to it.   We did have an artist/musician we were going to talk about BUT shit happens so I'm gonna talk shit for a paragraph and then introduce my new sex article and food commentary.

Hello, my name is Cakes.

I recently came back from Pawternity leave and I will be going back to attending events and being a full time art cunty in no time.   If you just asked yourself wtf is pawternity leave well it's where you become a puppy mom and your whole life gets turned upside down with a new puppers and you have to figure your shit out, change your life, and get a whole new routine.  Shout out to the Humane Society of the Desert in North Palm Springs for giving me my precious angel Howie.  They do great work.

This week we went to Pappy and Harriets to see Electro Pop duo Sylvan Esso and the show was fantastic.  There's something about the air there and they definitely put on a show booooyyyyy.  It's one of our favorite places to see an intimate show.  Love the vibe, if you ever want to take someone out on a date, it's kind of a hot ticket.   The food on the other hand was not impressive.  I normally get the porkchop every time and this time the pork was undercooked and the potatoes were cold - ni modo.  My friend had asked me if it was still the same and I would say yes but the last two times I have been, the food is just regular smegular bar food.

If it seems like you miss hearing about shows up there, go to their website and check out the next few months of shows and get tickets.  I think it's a great date night idea.  https://pappyandharriets.com/

We have a very busy month ahead.  Comedy, concerts, Musicians, ART.  We can't wait to tell you all about it.

Enjoy our new segment "SEX IN THE DESERT" -  a play on Sex in the City but I'm  just Samantha the whole way through.

ALSO, we are starting "FOODY WITH A BOOTY" - Culinary Commentary- paid by my own dime so fuck you if you don't like it.
